International Foundation Year Programme

International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) 

It is designed to equip students from different countries with the skills and knowledge to study undergraduate courses at HKSYU. It provides students with an alternative route to pursuing further studies at HKSYU apart from public examinations such as DSE, A-Level or IB. This programme targets international students who want to build a good foundation in knowledge, improve their academic language, and prepare themselves for undergraduate studies in either social sciences, commerce, or arts. 

Why study in the International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP)? 
The programme is a bridge between high school education and undergraduate studies in university. By studying in IFYP, students will be benefit from

After completing the programme and reaching the required GPA and language requirement, students are eligible to progress to the undergraduate programmes offered by HKSYU.
