HKSYU assists international students with admissions, visa support, orientation, and cultural integration. The International Foundation Year Programme provides international students with an alternative route to pursuing further studies at HKSYU apart from public examinations. The Centre for Global Engagement  organizes exchange opportunities for undergraduate students. Once students are enrolled in undergraduate studies, they become eligible to join our exchange programmes. 

Transportation

Hong Kong has a highly efficient and extensive public transportation system, making it easy to get around the city. The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is the primary mode of transportation, and it connects various parts of Hong Kong. Buses, trams, minibuses, and ferries also offer convenient travel options. Students can use the Octopus card, a rechargeable smart card, for seamless payment across different modes of transport.

Food and Cuisines

Hong Kong is renowned as a gourmet heaven, enticing food enthusiasts from around the world with its diverse culinary offerings. From mouthwatering street food stalls to Michelin-starred restaurants, the city embraces an array of flavours and cuisines.
 
Students can enjoy their meals in the school canteen and the local restaurants near the campus. HKSYU is located next to some of the busiest areas of the city. Students can easily communte to the hub of the city and find various types of cuisines.
