Students from diverse backgrounds and countries came together to kick off their academic adventure with us. Orientation Day was all about connecting, exploring, and getting ready for an amazing year of growth and discovery.

We had an amazing time on 15 November at HKSYU Info Day 2025!
Our International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) team, together with the Centre for Global Engagement, welcomed many enthusiastic visitors and future students to explore global learning opportunities at Shue Yan.

The IFYP workshop aims to familiarize students with the use of digital tools and enhance their digital literacy. A good standard of digital literacy enables students to effectively navigate the information-rich online environment.

The International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) 2025/26 Orientation Day was successfully held on Friday, 19 September 2025. The event welcomed this year’s new cohort of students and offered them a warm start to their academic journey at HKSYU.

Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU) hosted a press conference to introduce our International Foundation Year Programme (IFYP) on November 18, 2024.

On November 16, we had a great time at HKSYU Info Day! Our booth, set up with the Centre for Global Engagement, focused on promoting internationalization and global outreach.

The IFYP students had an awesome time doing coffee art! They got to paint fun designs on their drinks and showed off their creations. It was a relaxing day filled with laughter, creativity, and, of course, delicious coffee. Everyone enjoyed making art and hanging out together!

Our IFYP students had an exciting day visiting the Aberdeen Fishing Boat and Floating Museum! They hopped on a boat to see the traditional fishing village and learned about local fishing culture. It was a chill day filled with laughter, great views, and a chance to explore something new together!

They checked out the cool shops at PMQ, learned about the history at the temple, and enjoyed the lively vibe at Tai Kwun. It was a great day filled with fun, learning, and making new friends!

Our IFYP students had a great time on a guided tour to learn about the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of Hong Kong's most traditional celebrations!
